Sugar-Free 7 Energy at 7 Brew (Calories, Caffeine, How to Order It Right)

Last reviewed September 11, 2026. Independent guide, not affiliated with 7 Brew Coffee. Facts checked against 7brew.com, the official FAQ and the June 2026 nutrition guide.

Sugar-free 7 Energy is 7 Brew’s energy base made with non-nutritive sweeteners instead of sugar, and with sugar-free syrups it comes to 0 calories in a small, 5 in a medium and 10 in a large, with the same 67 to 133 mg of caffeine as the original. It costs the same as regular 7 Energy, about $4.75 to $5.50 for a small in 2026, and every named flavor (Ocean Breeze, Pixie Stick, Sunrise, Nightshade and the rest) can be made on it. The catch is the order: you have to say “sugar-free” twice, once for the base and once for the syrups, or you get a half-sugar drink.

I drink this one more than any other item on the menu, so this page is opinionated about which flavors survive the switch.

Sugar-free vs original 7 Energy, by the numbers

Size (iced)Original calories / sugarSugar-free calories / sugarCaffeine (both)
Small 16 oz180 cal / 45 g0 cal / 0 g67 mg
Medium 24 oz240 cal / 58 g5 cal / 0 g105 mg
Large 32 oz360 cal / 91 g10 cal / 0 g133 mg
Large Frozen Chiller300 cal / 75 g10 cal / 0 g71 mg (114 mg listed for sugar-free chiller)

Figures are for the Ocean Breeze flavor as listed in the official guide; other flavors land within 10 calories. The sugar-free large Chiller row is odd: the guide lists it at 114 mg of caffeine against 71 mg for the original large Chiller, which I suspect is a data-entry quirk on 7 Brew’s side, so I’d assume the iced numbers are the reliable ones.

How to order it so it’s actually sugar-free

  1. Say “sugar-free 7 Energy” for the base; plain “7 Energy” is the sweetened base.
  2. Then say “with sugar-free blue raspberry and sugar-free coconut” (or just “all sugar-free syrups”).
  3. Skip cream, cold foam and drizzles, or accept 15 to 130 calories each; the drizzles are the big one.
  4. Iced is the default; “as a chiller” for frozen. Sweetness can also be dropped to half if the diet syrups taste strong.

In the app, the 7 Energy tab has a base toggle for Sugar-Free, and each syrup has its own sugar-free option. The Brewista will build the same drink at the window if you say “everything sugar-free.”

Sugar-free 7 Energy FAQs

How many calories are in a sugar-free 7 Energy?

0 in a small, 5 in a medium and 10 in a large iced, per 7 Brew’s June 2026 nutrition guide, as long as the syrups are sugar-free too. The large Frozen Chiller is 10 calories.

Does sugar-free 7 Energy have the same caffeine?

Yes: 67 mg small, 105 mg medium, 133 mg large, identical to the original. The sugar-free can is 114 mg.

What sweetener is in sugar-free 7 Energy?

7 Brew says the sugar-free version uses “non-nutritive sweeteners” and does not name them on its site. Sucralose is the usual sweetener in energy bases and most sugar-free syrups; if you react to a specific sweetener, ask the Brewista to read the label.

Is sugar-free 7 Energy keto?

Effectively yes at 0 to 4 g of carbs per size, provided every syrup is sugar-free. Regular coconut syrup and cream-based add-ons will add carbs.

Which syrups come sugar-free at 7 Brew?

Most fruit and dessert syrups: vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, white chocolate, chocolate, blue raspberry, strawberry, peach, raspberry, coconut (at most stands), toasted marshmallow, brown sugar cinnamon and more. Ask; the wall is labeled and stands differ slightly.

Does it taste like the original?

Close. The base is the same flavor profile and the coconut or vanilla in most combos masks the diet-sweetener finish. Straight blue raspberry sugar-free is where you notice it most.
