The Brunette is 7 Brew’s hazelnut and caramel mocha, the chocolate counterpart to the Blondie and one of the 7 Originals. A small iced is 250 calories, 39 g of sugar and 120 mg of caffeine; it runs about $4.75 to $5.50 for a small in 2026. Because it’s a mocha (chocolate and milk) and not a breve (cream), it has fewer calories than the Blondie but nearly twice the sugar, and the Frozen Chiller version is the single highest-calorie Original on the menu at 920 for a large.

What’s in a 7 Brew Brunette
7brew.com lists it as “Hazelnut + Caramel Mocha,” so: espresso (two shots small and medium, four large), chocolate sauce, milk, hazelnut syrup, caramel syrup. Iced is shaken over ice, hot is steamed, and the Frozen Chiller is blended with ice and more sauce, which is where the calories run away. There’s no white chocolate and no half-and-half in it, which is why it tastes like a Nutella latte and not like the cream-forward Originals.

Two things stand out. A large iced Brunette has 79 g of sugar, about what’s in two cans of Coke, and the large Chiller has 133 g. And the sugar-free version isn’t lower in calories for iced and hot (it’s a touch higher, because the sugar-free chocolate sauce is richer); it only drops sugar. If calories are the goal, the sugar-free Frozen Chiller at 150 for a small is the lightest Brunette.
How to order a Brunette
“Small iced Brunette.” No need to say mocha.
“Half sweet” cuts the syrups; the chocolate sauce still comes through.
“Sugar-free” swaps hazelnut, caramel and the chocolate sauce for diet versions.
