The 7 Energy can is 7 Brew’s energy drink in ready-to-drink form, and 7 Brew has published the numbers that matter: 114 mg of caffeine per can, 5 calories for the sugar-free version, and $2.48 for a single can at Walmart. Two cans (Original and Sugar-Free Original) are sold at every 7 Brew stand; three flavored sugar-free cans, Ocean Breeze, Nightshade and Pink Mermaid, are Walmart-only, stocked in roughly 1,100 Walmart stores and 450 Walmart fuel stations since August 2026. Cans don’t earn Rewards points.
If you’re deciding between the can and a fountain 7 Energy at the window, the can actually has more caffeine per dollar. That surprised me, and the reason is below.

Pink Mermaid is normally a 7 Fizz soda at the stand, not an energy drink, so the can is the first time it has come with caffeine. Nightshade is the only one of the three that’s a regular 7 Energy menu flavor (Nightshade details here). Availability “will continue to expand as distribution grows,” per 7 Brew, and the stand-only flavors can still be ordered handcrafted at any window.
Caffeine: 114 mg per can, more than a large from the stand
7 Brew’s at-home FAQ states “our 7 Energy cans contain 114 mg of caffeine.” The official nutrition guide for stand drinks lists an iced 7 Energy at 67 mg small, 105 mg medium and 133 mg large. So one can sits between a medium and a large fountain drink, in a container that’s smaller than a small cup. For comparison, a 12 oz can of Red Bull is 114 mg too, a 16 oz Monster is 160 mg, and a small 7 Brew latte is 120 mg. If you only want the caffeine, the $2.48 can beats a $5-plus large.
$2.48 per single can is the Walmart price 7 Brew quotes on its own site. Stands price the can themselves and we’ve seen $2.99 to $3.99 on menu boards, with a few charging the same as a small fountain drink. The 7 Brew ready-to-drink coffees (Blondie, Brunette Brownie and Banana Bread chilled espresso cans, made with 100% Arabica and real cream) are a separate line at $2.98, sold at about 4,400 Walmarts since August 22, 2026, and not at stands.
Sugar-free vs Original can
Sugar-Free Original is 5 calories and uses non-nutritive sweeteners; 7 Brew describes it as “that same great taste.” The sweetened Original has no published calorie count, which is a gap; based on the fountain drink (180 calories and 45 g sugar per 16 oz), a smaller can would run roughly 130 to 150 calories and 35 g of sugar. I’d treat those as estimates until 7 Brew posts the label. All three flavored cans are sugar-free only; there is no sweetened Ocean Breeze can.
How to buy one
At a stand: ask for “an Original 7 Energy can” or “a sugar-free can” at the window; it rings up as a retail item and does not earn points.
At Walmart: check the Grab & Go cooler near the front of the store first, then the energy drink aisle; the flavored sugar-free cans are only here.
Online: Walmart.com offers delivery from select locations; 7 Brew does not sell cans on its own site or in the app.
